    The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) has a requirement for 55 rental vehicles, without drivers, while conducting flying operations in San Diego (Miramar), California, USA, during the period of 1 March 2020 to 28 March 2020.
    .
    The vehicles are the following types:
    
    -13 x sedans.  Vehicles are to have four (4) doors and be capable of having a carrying capacity of five (5) people and their luggage (minimum two 20kg pieces of luggage per person);
    -38 x 7 passenger minivans or large SUV capable of carrying 5+ people and their luggage (minimum two 20kg pieces of luggage per person); and
    -4 x pickup truck with the towing capacity of 1000lbs and 2” hitch receiver.
    
    
    Those vehicles will be picked up and returned at:
    Marine Corps Air Station Miramar
    Base Operations Building 9211
    San Diego CA, USA.
    
    -There is no security requirements associated with the requirement;
    -Bids will be submitted, by email, directly to the Contracting Authority, on closing date indicated on page 1 of the RFP, at the latest;
    -Bid submission by fax is not acceptable;
    -Among the mandatory criteria, described in the solicitation document, the Bidder must provide cars that are/have: 
    
    a.in good condition, cleaned, mechanically checked, serviced and highway inspected prior to delivery; 
    b.no more than four years old and have no more than 75,000 kilometres; 
    c.air conditioning, in good serviceable working order; 
    d.have power steering system;
    e.all tires in new or near new condition; and 
    f.have a spare tire on a rim (compatible with the vehicle) in new or near new condition along with manufacturers’ original tools necessary to change a flat tire.
    
    -Basis of selection: A bid must comply with all mandatory technical evaluation criteria of the bid solicitation to be declared responsive. The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price (in Annex B, Basis of Payment) will be recommended for award of a Contract.
    
    - World Trade Organisation/ Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP) and Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans Pacific Partnership Agreement (CPTPP) apply to this requirement.
    
    -There is no Accessibility requirements associated with the requirement.
