Amendment #1 Amendment #1 is raised to extend the bid closing date from October 17th to October 25th, 2017. 350 Inflatable Landing Boats This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number W8482-168236/B dated 2016-11-22 with a closing date of 2016-12-22 at 02:00 PM EST. NATURE OF REQUIREMENT The Department of National Defence has a requirement to purchase 350 Inflatable Landing Boats (12 person capacity). This platform will be utilized by the Canadian Armed Forces Combat Engineers, Infantry and other DND entities for a multitude of specialized tasks and operations that include the necessity for rapid deployment. The requested delivery quantities are 30 boats per quarter, with the first delivery to occur 180 days after contract award date. Delivery locations are Edmonton, Alberta and Montréal, Québec. There is an option for an additional 100 boats. Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement does not apply as the delivery locations are not within a Land Claim Area. There is no security associated with this requirement. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). The sourcing strategy to this procurement is that all interested suppliers may submit a bid. Bidders to be considered compliant must meet all the Mandatory Requirements of the Request for Proposal. The lowest priced compliant proposal will be recommended for award. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
