Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Best Overall Proposal Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: LETTER OF INTEREST/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) FOR HEAVY EQUIPMENT OUT-SERVICE TRAINING PROGRAM W2037-140010/A Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is requesting the Industry feedback on the proposed attached Statement of Work for Educational Services for Out-Service Training (OST) Program. The OST program is intended to augment the capability of the Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering (CFSME) to meet the mandate of the Department of National Defence (DND) to train combat engineers and mobile support equipment operators in the operation of heavy equipment. The Statement of Work (SOW) and subsequent contract will ensure that all aspects of the program requirements are formalized. It defines the requirement of CFSME for the provision of customized training of students at a post-secondary vocational institute. As described in the SOW the vocational institute location must be accessible to a Canadian Forces Base. The courses required to be delivered will involve the following trades, which are categorized and identified as Military Occupation Specification Identification (MOSID): (a) MOSID 00181 Combat Engineer; (b) MOSID 00171 Mobile Support Equipment Operator (MSE Op). Potential suppliers, or theirs representatives, are invited to provide comments on the proposed Statement of Work. If potential vendors are unable to provide training in accordance with the standards set out, they are invited to present information on the level of training that they are prepared to provide. There is a security requirement associated with this requirement. The procurement is subject to the Controlled Goods Progam. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
