    The Contractor must provide nursing consultation services and
    advice to the staff of the Quebec City Field Office (QC), and to
    other offices if required, on a wide variety of nursing issues
    related to the care and treatment of adult and older adult
    clients.  
    
    The estimated number of hours of schedule relief service for the
    Quebec City Field Office is 540 hours per contract year.  
    
    The period of the contract is for two (2) years, from date of
    award,  with three  (3) option periods of one (1) year each.
    
    Each proposal personnel to provide Field Office Nursing services
    must  meet the following qualifications:
    
    Graduation with a degree from a recognized university with an
    acceptable specialization in nursing - e.g. B.N.; BScN; BA with
    a Major in Nursing; Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing ;
    Bachelor of Health Science (Psychiatric Nursing).
    
    A certificate of current registration as a Registered Nurse or
    as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse in the province where the work
    is to be performed.
    
    24 months of full time experience in the last seven (7) years
    providing nursing care to adults as a Registered Nurse or
    Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
    6 months of full time experience as a Registered Nurse or as a
    Registered Psychiatric Nurse (within the last 7 years in
    providing nursing care to adults in a community health setting;
    or, in a mental health setting; or, teaching the practice of
    nursing adults residing in a community setting, or the nursing
    of adults with mental health conditions.
    Experience with the use of personal computers and software in a
    Windows environment  including word processing, electronic mail
    and Internet.
    
    Must hold a valid driver's license in the province where the
    work is to be performed.
    
    The technical proposal will also be evaluated in accordance with
    point rated requirements.
    
    The requirement contains a security requirement.
    
    This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in
    both official languages.

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
    
    Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
