The Canadian Forces School of Military Engineering (CFSME) in Gagetown, New Brunswick has a requirement for the provision of an experienced contractor to provide instruction in computer-aided design (CAD) software.  On an as requested basis, the successful bidder will be required to provide instruction on operating AutoCad software and performing survey to each of the identified trades as applicable to members of the CAF located at 5th Canadian Division Support Base (5 CDSB) Gagetown.  The contract is for a one (1) year period with four (2) optional one (1) year periods.

Trade Agreements:  The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),  the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). Canada-Chile Free Trade Agreement, Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP), Canada-Colombia Free Trade Agreement, Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), Canada-Honduras Free Trade Agreement. Canada-Korea Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Panama Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement, Canada-Ukraine Free Trade Agreement and World Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-GPA).

The work to be performed is detailed in Annex A.  

There is a security requirement with this request. 


The bidder must demonstrate the following:
Resource(s) must hold a valid Civil Technician Certification/Diploma. 

Resource must have 36 months of experience in drafting fundamentals.  
Resource must have 36 months of experience conducting Computer-Aided Drafting Projects.  
Resource must have 36 months of experience in applied surveying.  
Resource must have 36 months of experience in basics of surveying.
