    RISO Temperature Probes & Data Loggers
    
    The Department of Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) Science Branch requires a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the supply and delivery of various underwater temperature probes and data loggers on an "as and when requested" basis, to be shipped to various DFO offices in Eastern Canada. The Standing Offer will be for one Initial Period extending from the Date of Award to October 31, 2021 with the option of two (2) additional one-year periods from November 1, 2021 to October 31, 2022 and from November 1, 2022 to October 31, 2023.
    
    IMPORTANT NOTICE:
    
    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and limited staff available at the Moncton bid receiving unit, bidders are encouraged to transmit their bids electronically using the epost Connect service or facsimile instead of any of the other methods of bid delivery that are available for this bid solicitation. 
    
    If you must hand deliver your bid (yourself or via courier), please note the reduced hours for bid receiving;

    This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.

Inquiries are to be made in writing and should be received no less than five (5) calendar days prior to the closing date to allow sufficient time to respond.
    
    Firm intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the Government Electronic Tendering System (GETS).  Addenda, when issued, will be available on GETS. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference, and form part of the tender and contract documents. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services and may be viewed at buyandsell.gc.ca.
