    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    
    Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and limited staff available at the Moncton, NB bid receiving unit, bidders are encouraged to transmit their bids electronically using the epost Connect service or facsimile instead of any of the other methods of bid delivery that are available for this bid solicitation. 
    
    If you must hand deliver your bid (yourself or via courier), the on-site bid drop box must be used.  Please follow the instructions on the bid box itself.

    The COVID-19 pandemic continues to have an unprecedented impact on the health of Canadians. COVID-19 vaccines are a critical tool that reduce the risk of COVID-19 and protect broader public health.
    As a responsible employer, the Government of Canada is committed to protecting the health and safety of its employees. On October 6, 2021, the Government of Canada announced its Policy on COVID-19 Vaccination for the Core Public Administration Including the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.
    
    In alignment with this important measure, all supplier personnel (including subcontractor personnel) who access federal government workplaces will also be required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19. This requirement will enter into effect on November 15, 2021.
    
    This PWGSC provides procurement services to the public in both official languages of Canada.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of CETA/WTO-AGP/CPTPP/CFTA/FTAs Peru/ Columbia/ Panama/ Korea/ UK
    
    REQUIREMENT:
    
    Requesting a Regional Master Standing Offer (RMSO) for the supply and delivery of  Fresh Fruits & Vegetables to Department of National Defence Food Services at 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown in Oromocto, New Brunswick E2V 4J5 and Correctional Service Canada’s (CSC) Institutions located in Renous E9E 2E1 and Dorchester E4K 2Y9 both in New Brunswick and in Springhill, Nova Scotia B0M 1X0 on an «as and when» requested basis.  The period of the Standing Offer(s) is from July 1st 2022 to April 30th 2023, divided into four (4) rebid with monthly price refresh periods, for four (2) total monthly standing offer periods, as outlined in Appendix 1 to Annex “B”.
    
    INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS:
    
    An offer must be submitted for each period as per the Schedule of Tender Closing Dates in Appendix 1 to Annex “B”.  The cover page for each of the 4 tender closing are included.
    
    Offerors may bid on any period of their choice.  
    
    Only one (1) notice will be posted on Buy and Sell - Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) for this requirement.  This posting will include all the documents which are to be submitted by the offeror for the rebidding period.  No further notice will be given to the offerors of the periodic tender closing dates.  It is the offeror’s responsibility to create a «bring-forward system» that best suits their needs.
    
    NOTE:   An amendment to the solicitation will be posted on Buy and Sell if there must be any changes to the Requirement, the Schedule of Tender Closing Dates or to the «List of Products» at Annex B.   It is the responsibility of the offerors to assure themselves they verify and receive all the amendments (if any) during the period from the date this solicitation is published on Buy and Sell.

    The responsive offer with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for issuance of a contract.  The supplier MUST be compliant with Annex A and Annex B.
    
    The Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) is available at Buyandsell.gc.ca.  Suppliers that elect to base their bids on documents obtained from other sources do so at their own risk.  Amendments, when issued, will be available on GETS.  It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all amendments issued prior to closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted bid.
