IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic and limited staff available at the Moncton, NB bid receiving unit, bidders are encouraged to transmit their bids electronically using the epost Connect service or facsimile instead of any of the other methods of bid delivery that are available for this bid solicitation. 

If you must hand deliver your bid (yourself or via courier), the on-site bid drop box must be used.  Please follow the instructions on the bid box itself.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of CETA and has a preference for Canadian Goods.

REQUIREMENT:

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Department of National Defence has a requirement for a Regional Individual Standing Offer for the supply, delivery and offloading of Juice Products from Concentrate with Dispensing Machines to Kitchen H33 at 5 CDSB Gagetown, on an as and when requested basis for the period of the Standing Offer from 1 September 2022 to 31 August 2025.

All Juice products MUST be manufactured in a HACCP Certified Facility and must be also distributed through a HACPP certified distributor.

INSTRUCTIONS TO OFFERORS:

Suppliers must provide a price for all items at Annex B.  ALL ITEMS MUST BE AVAILABLE for initial set-up.

Only one (1) Standing Offer will be awarded to lowest aggregate bid, total extended cost of all items, meeting ALL mandatory requirements.  The supplier MUST be compliant with Annex A and Annex B.

EQUIPMENT:

The supplier agrees to ensure that the consignee is supplied with state of the art equipment dispensing machines for Juice from Concentrate products as indicated at Annex "B" at Kitchen H33 "To a max of six (6) machines total" with a minimum of four (4) selection valves per machine.  The juice dispenser must be a closed system with no hoses or tubes to trap bacteria and must be 100% maintenance free, with dispensing nozzle incorporated in the juice packaging.

Mandatory monthly maintenance requirements are specified at Annex "A".
