    Requirement:
    
    To carry out the docking, maintenance and alterations of the
    Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) vessel "CCGS Cygnus" in accordance
    with the provided Specification.
    
    Bidders' Conference:
    
    A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will
    be held at CCG Base 280 Southside Road, Cape Harrison Room, St.
    John's, Newfoundland on June 26, 2014 @ 1300.
    
    Site Visit - Vessel:
    
    The viewing will take place on June 26, 2014 @ 0900 at Coast
    Guard Base 280 Southside Road, Cape Harrisson Room, St. John's
    Newfoundland.  
    
    Destination:
    
    The work shall be carried out Alongside at Coast Guard base,
    Southside Road St. John's, Newfoundland.
    
    Work Period:
    
    Commence:	  September 1, 2014
    Complete:         January 5, 2015
    
    Sourcing Strategy:
    
    The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be
    limited to suppliers in  Eastern Canada Region, in accordance
    with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization  Policy
    (1996-12-19) subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
    This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex
    1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).

    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.
