Requirement:
The CCGS Corporal Teather V.C. requires a new Anchor/Deck Wash System and Piping Replacement for the Fire Main System. The Work will take place at CCIW, 867 Lakeshore road, Burlington, Ontario, L7S 1A1.

Bidders' Conference:
A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be held at CCIW, 867 Lakeshore road, Burlington, Ontario, L7S 1A1, on October 3, 2018 at 13:00.

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than two (2) Working Days before the scheduled conference to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

Mandatory Site Visit - Vessel:
The viewing will take place on October 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at CCIW, 867 Lakeshore road, Burlington, Ontario, L7S 1A1.

Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority no later than two (2) Working Days before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.

Work Period:
Commence: December 17, 2018 
Complete: March 21, 2019

Additional Instructions to Work Period:
The vessel will be manned during the work period and will be considered to be in- commission. The vessel during that period will be in the care or custody of the Coast Guard and under its control.

Sourcing Strategy:
The sourcing strategy related to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in Eastern Canada Region, in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Refit, Repair and Modernization Policy, and is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement. 

This procurement is exempt from NAFTA [see Chapter 10, Annex 1001.2b, paragraph 1 (a)] and from the WTO-AGP (see Annex 4).
The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
