TASK Based Professional Services (TSPS) Requirement

This requirement is for: Department of National Defence.

This requirement is open only to those Supply Arrangement Holders under E60ZN-15TSPS who qualified under Tier 1 for the following categories: 5 - Technical Engineering and Maintenance Services (TEMS), Stream 5.16 contract for one (1) Life Cycle Management Specialist- Senior, full level of effort, Team Leader and one (1) Optional Life Cycle Management Specialist -  intermediate, Optional position and Task Based - up to 240 days level of effort - as and when required.

Description of the Requirement:

This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of Life Cycle Material Management (LCMM) Support services for Weather Deck Systems for the Department of National Defence -  Director Naval Platform Systems, (DNPS) 6-3 for the provision of a Task Base Professional Services TSPS Stream 5.16 contract for one (1) Life Cycle Management Specialist- Senior, full level of effort, Team Leader and one (1) Optional Life Cycle Management Specialist -  intermediate, Optional position and Task Based - up to 240 days level of effort - as and when required.  

It is intended to result in the award of one (1) contract for an initial period of two (2) years, plus three (3) one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.

The Director Naval Platform Systems, (DNPS) 6-3 as the design and/or technical authority for Ship’s Weatherdeck systems provides life cycle management services for equipment under section control.  The Contractor must support the Technical Authority (TA) in updating, maintaining, and managing the following systems: 

i. Inflatable boats;
ii.Emergency Escape, Evacuation and Rescue equipment;
iii.Davits equipment;
iv.Mooring equipment; and
v. Helo (helicopter) Support equipment.

These systems are comprised of custom designed systems made up of a mix of: standard commercial/industrial equipment, modified commercial/industrial equipment; and one-of-a-kind, custom design equipment.

Company Minimum Security Level Required:  Secret - Common PS SRCL #20
Resource Minimum Security Level Required:  Secret - Common PS SRCL #20

Applicable Trade Agreement:

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

Proposed period of contract:  

The proposed period of contract shall be from the contract date to two (2) years after the date of contract, plus three (3) one-year irrevocable options allowing Canada to extend the term of the contract.
