F7049-170120/B Aussant, Marc Telephone No. - (819) 420-2906 Fax No. - (819) 956-0897 The Canadian Coast Guard has a requirement to replace the existing Cranes fitted onboard its four (4) Canadian Coast Guard Ships (CCGS) 1200 Class Medium Icebreakers with new Class approved Electro Hydraulic Marine Knuckle Boom Cranes (KB Cranes). The requirement includes all associated Work and Services described in the RFP including the Statement of Work (SOW) attached as Annex A The procurement will consist in the supply of new Class approved Electro Hydraulic Marine KB Cranes with their individual design and engineering packages required for the strip-out of the existing cranes and their Class approved vessel’s integrations and installations. The procurement will also include the strip-out of the existing cranes with their related equipment and the integration and installation of the KB Cranes on board the four (4) 1200 Class CCG Vessels tied up alongside at the CCG Bases. The intended procurement would be for an initial order of four (4) KB Cranes for the CCGS Pierre Radisson with optional orders of four (4) KB Cranes for the CCGS Amundsen, (4) KB Cranes for the CCGS Des Groseilliers and three (3) KB Cranes CCGS Henry Larsen, all in accordance with the Annex ’A’’ Statement of Works (SOW) which provides the technical details on the intended procurement. A mandatory site visit will take place onboard CCGS Amundsen, tied up alongside at the Canadian Coast Guard Base, 101 Boulevard Champlain, Québec City, Québec on May 8, 2019 - 09:00 EDT and a Bidder’s Conference will be hold at the Canadian Coast Guard Building, 101 Boulevard Champlain, Québec City, Québec on May 9, 2019 at 0900 EDT. This procurement will be subject to provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Canada Free Trade Agrement (CFTA) and Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA). The RFP will close on July 24, 2019 - 02:00 pm EDT. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
