ABORIGINAL SOURCE LIST FOR: REGIONAL MASTER STANDING OFFER FOR VARIOUS HARDWARE PRODUCTS.

This request is subject to the provisions of the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), of the Agreement on the Internal Trade (AIT) and World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP).

THIS LETTER OF INTEREST IS NOT A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AND NO STANDING OFFER WILL RESULT FROM IT.

INTENT

The Government of Canada is seeking Letters of Interest from aboriginal businesses interested and having the capacity and availability to supply, on an as-and-when required basis, various hardware products (more than 140 different products) to be delivered FOB destination to various Federal Departments and Agencies located in the province of Quebec. 

The purpose of this posting is to generate a list of possible aboriginal suppliers that would be interested in being provided a copy of the upcoming request for standing offer related to the goods identified in the requirement described below.

Canada may, at its discretion, decide to only contact or solicit bids from the suppliers that have responded to this Letter of Interest.

REQUIREMENT

Supply, on an as-and-when required basis, various hardware products (more than 140 different products from more than 110 different manufacturers) to be delivered FOB destination to various Federal Departments and Agencies located in the province of Quebec. 

Delivery Response Time: 
-Urgent : 24 hours
-Regular Stocked Items : 48 hours
-On command items: 96 hours

Main users are, among others: Department of National Defence: Valcartier, Longue-Pointe and St-Jean-sur-Richelieu garrisons, Fisheries and Oceans Canada (Québec region), Correctional Service Canada (Various establishments and CORCAN).

Canada reserves the right to issue up to 4 Standing Offers.

DESCRIPTION - EVALUATION CRITERIA SUMMARY

Chosen supplier-s must offer a discount on at least 40% of the 144 different hardware products AND must be an authorized distributor/dealor for at least 40% of the 110 trademarks listed (Manufacturer List). Only the firm discounts for the trademarks for which the offerer is an authorized distributor will be accepted.


SCHEDULE

Goods are required as of July 1st, 2016.

PERIOD 

For a two (2) year period, from July 1st, 2016 to June 30th, 2018, plus a possible optional one (1) year period, from July 1st, 2018 to June 30 th, 2019.

ESTIMATED VALUE PER YEAR

$2 682 750.00, applicable taxes included.
