REQUIREMENT
Public Works and Government Services on behalf of the Department of National Defense requires the services of an Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO) recognized by Transport Canada to conduct a Structural Inspection Repair Program (SIRP) of one Air Cadet Gliding Program (ACGP) Cessna 305A (L-19 Bird Dog) C-FTGC. The requirement includes a complete rebuild and renewal of the aircraft to a fully serviceable state.

PROXIMITY
DND's operational requirements require that the Contractor's site where the work will be done and where the aircraft will be delivered be located at a maximum of 200 km from DND site in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Québec.

OPTIONAL VISIT OF AIRCRAFT
It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the Aircraft. Arrangements have been made for an on-site visit to be held at 35 Chemin de l’aéroport, St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, QC on TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 12, 2017. The site visit will begin at 10:00am EDT.

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
Please refer to the RFP for all the details relating to the requirement. Bids will be assessed in accordance with the entire requirement of the RFP including the technical and financial evaluation criteria.
A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation and meet all mandatory technical criteria to be declared responsive.
The selection will be based on the highest responsive combined rating of technical merit and price. The ratio will be 60% for the technical and 40% for the price.
A bid may be submitted in either official language of Canada.

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC)provides services in both official languages of Canada.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
