    IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS - BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
    
    Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 
    
    Bids must be submitted electronically using the Canada Post Corporation's (CPC) Connect service application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows bidders to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
    
    Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

    (a) Title : RISO Military Vehicule Inspection and Repair Service
    
    (b) Description :
    
    Request for Regional Individual Standing Offers (RISO) to supply, on an as and when ordered basis, inspection and repair services of various military vehicles / equipment for the Department of National Defence (DND).
    
    Service is required for the 202 Workshop Depot (202 WD) / ASU Montreal (Area Support Unit Montreal) located in Longue-Pointe, Montréal, province of Quebec.
    
    Suppliers will be selected following an evaluation based on mandatory technical criteria & financial criteria specified in this Request for Standing Offers (RFSO).
    
    Canada intends and reserves the right to award up to 3 standing offers.
    
    
    Period of Standing Offers: 
    
    From the date of award and for a 2 year firm period with the right for Canada to authorize an optional 1 year period.
    
    
    CONTROLLED GOODS PROGRAM (CGP):
    
    The RFSO involves controlled goods as defined in the Schedule to the Defence Production Act.
    
    Any Contractor and any subcontractor must maintain registration, exemption or exclusion from the CGP for the duration of the Contract and in any event for so long as they will examine, possess or transfer controlled goods.
    
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
