As a result, the closing date has also been extended from January 10, 2018 to January 17, 2018. _____________________________________________________________ Notice of Proposed Procurement (NPP) 1. This NPP is issued pursuant to PWGSC Supply Arrangement (SA) # E60PQ-120001/E, and covers a requirement from the following Sub-Category(ies) of the SA: - Rotary Office Chair; - Rotary Conference Chair; 2. Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED) has a requirement for the purchase, delivery and installation of 211 Rotary Standard Back Office Chairs and 195 Rotary Conference Chairs to Montreal (Québec) between March 20-23 2018. 3. This NPP covers a requirement to be solicited amongst the General stream of Suppliers (SA holders). 4. This requirement is subject to the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the World Trade Organization-Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the Canada-Columbia Free Trade Agreement, the Canada-Chili Free Trade Agreement, and the Canada-Peru Free Trade Agreement. 5. The bid solicitation is also open to suppliers who are not Supply Arrangement (SA) holders. In order for new suppliers to bid on this solicitation, the new supplier must first qualify for a SA. The process to qualify for a SA is detailed in RFSA # E60PQ-120001/E, and can be found on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) (https://buyandsell.gc.ca/procurement-data/tender-notice/PW-PQ-959-70369). Canada is not required to delay the award of a resulting contract pending the evaluation of an arrangement and issuance of a SA by the PWGSC Supply Arrangement Authority. DELETE 6. 6. (Operating as: Borgo contract seating) Location: 324 Carlingview Drive Etobicoke, Ontario M9W 5G5 Canada Following are the basic features and attributes required by Canada: Type: Rotary Office Chair Headrest : Not included Backrest Height : Standard back Lumbar Support : Adjustable Armrests : Height/Width/Swivel Adjustable « T » Arm Seat Depth : Adjustable Seat and Backrest Locks : Lockable or stoppable in multiple positions Tilt Mechanism: Independently Upholstery : Back breathable material/Seat fabric Green Chair Recognition: No INSERT 6. 6. For the 211 Rotary Standard Back Office Chairs, the following are the basic features and attributes required by Canada: Type: Rotary Office Chair Headrest : Not included Backrest Height : Standard back Lumbar Support : Adjustable Armrests : Height/Width/Swivel Adjustable « T » Arm Seat Depth : Adjustable Seat and Backrest Locks : Lockable or stoppable in multiple positions Tilt Mechanism: Independently Upholstery : Back breathable material/Seat fabric Green Chair Recognition: N/A 7. For the 195 Rotary Conference Chairs, the following are the basic features and attributes required by Canada for the Rotary Conference Chair: Type: Rotary conference chair Headrest : Not included Backrest Height : Standard back Lumbar Support : Adjustable or Fixed Armrests : Fixed armrest Seat Depth : Adjustable Seat and Backrest Locks : Lockable in setup position or lockable or stoppable in multiple positions Tilt Mechanism: Concurrently Upholstery : Back breathable material/Seat fabric Green Chair Recognition: Yes Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
