Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the National Film Board of Canada (NFB), is releasing this Letter of Interest (LOI) as a first step to inform all interested parties of the following possible procurement: The National Film Board of Canada will require the services of one or more moving companies to move office furniture and specialized equipment. The move will be over a period of a few weeks starting November 2018, up to the end of March 2019. The move will consist of the following: 1. Moving of one box of personal items plus IT peripheral equipments (2 monitors, 2 arms for monitors, keyboards and mouse) for about (350) employees over 3 phases. 2. Moving of specialized IT Equipment such as Servers, Hard Drives which are installed in two (2) Data Centres. 3. Moving of specialized Audio/Video Equipment such as Projectors, Audio Consoles, etc. 4. Moving of specialized Animation Equipment such as Animation Tables (Obberry), Lighting equipment, Animation Computer Workstations, etc. However, it is required that the selected company or companies hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). The NFB intends to award the contract (s) in August of 2018. It is recommended that the interested companies start the security clearance process immediately, if they do not have said clearance already. The process can take between six to nine (6 to 9) months to be completed. IMPORTANT: Interested companies are invited to communicate with the Contracting Authority to indicate their interest to begin the process of security. IMPORTANT NOTE TO INTERESTED RESPONDENTS Respondents should note that this LOI is not a pre-selection process. There will be no short listing of firms for purposes of undertaking any future works, as a result of this LOI. Similarly, participation in this process is not a condition or prerequisite for participation in an eventual Request for proposal(RFP). This LOI is neither a Call for Tenders, nor a RFP, and no agreement or contract will be entered into with any contractor, based on responses to this LOI. The issuance of this LOI is not to be considered in any way as a commitment by Canada, or as authority for the respondent to undertake any work which could be charged to Canada, nor is this LOI to be considered a commitment to issue eventual RFPs or award eventual contracts in relation to this project. Canada shall not be bound by anything stated in this LOI. Canada reserves the right to change all or any parts of this LOI as deemed necessary. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
