Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Bids must be submitted by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows bidders to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Request for a regional master standing offer to supply on an as and when requested basis, bulk road salt to de-ice the roads required for Federal Departments and Agencies and in particular for the Correctional Services of Canada Institutions and the Department of National Defence located in the two following regions: Montreal Metropolitan Community and  Quebec Metropolitan Community.

The period of the standing offer is from November 1, 2021 until October 31, 2022 with two extensions of one year each.

All the specifications are detailled in the request for standing offer document.

"The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP),the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA) and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA)."
