Due to the ongoing and evolving COVID-19 outbreak, where possible, suppliers are encouraged to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Unit. Instructions for using E-Post are included in this solicitation.

Due to the ongoing and evolving COVID-19 outbreak, The Bid Receiving Unit for the Quebec Region remains open, but with limited hours: Thursdays from 10 am to 2 pm (Eastern Time). The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. As such, measures are being taken on site to encourage social distancing.

REQUIREMENT:

This Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) involves the provision, on an as and when ordered basis, of soft drinks for the detainees canteen of the Correctional Service Canada's (CSC) Donnacona Institution, in Donnacona,Quebec. 

For the duration of the RFSO, the supplier will provide and maintain three (3) refrigerators with sliding doors whith the minimum following dimensions for each refrigerator:48in large, 78in high and 31in deep.

PERIOD OF THE STANDING OFFER:

The initial period is for 2 (two) years from May 1st, 2020 to April 30, 2022 inclusively with the possibility of an additional one (1) year option from May 1st, 2022 to April 30, 2023 inclusively.

The supplier-s will be selected following an evaluation based on technicaland financial criteria specified in the Requirement included in this RFSO.

The estimated quantities for each of the required items can be found in Annex B - List of products (Excel file attached). The supplier will need to comply with the brands as well as the formats requested.

EPOST CONNECT SERVICE:

This RFSO allows bid submission files electronically using epost Connect. Interested bidders must refer to Part 2 of the solicitation document in order to obtain the instructions on how to submit their bids electronically. PWGSC does not guarantee a response if the email is sent 6 days or less before the closing date of the period.

All inquiries and other communication regarding this Request for Proposal must be sent, in writing, only to the contracting authority named in this RFSO.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
