Trade Agreement: NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: AMENDMENT 01 The purpose of this amendment 01 is to publish Questions and Answers (Q&A) regarding the Request for Proposal (RFP). ********************************************** This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number KM196-135041/A dated July 22nd, 2015 with a closing of August 31st, 2015 at 2:00pm (EDT). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation. The Watershed Hydrology and Ecology Research Division of Environment Canada requires a Ground Based Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) system to conduct detailed field surveys in various environments across Canada in support of the ongoing research programs, such as the Lake Winnipeg and Climate Change priority research programs. The ground based LiDAR survey system measures distance by illuminating a target with a laser and analyzing the reflected light. The LiDAR system will be used to develop high-resolution three dimensional models and/or maps of wetland, and delta and river environments that would not be possible using traditional survey systems. Request for Proposal for the acquisition and of one LiDAR system to support Environment Canada research programs, including training and technical support. The laser would not have to be custom built for this application and should be available off the shelf. The proposal must include the delivery of the LiDAR. Quantity: 1 Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
