AMENDMENT 001

The purpose of this amendment is to postpone the bid closing date until May 3rd 2021 at 2:00 PM (EDT).

The purpose of this amendment is to post questions and answers regarding this request for proposal.

The purpose is also to modify section 2, 4.2 and 7 of Annex A "Requirement", as well as the mandatory criteria M1 in Annex D.

All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. 

This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT:

Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), for Correctional Services Canada (CSC), is publishing this request for proposal (RFP) for the supply, delivery and installation of a waste compaction system including one (1) stationary compactor, five (5) compaction containers, one (1) hydraulic unit, one (1) control panel as well as the accessories indicated in this document.

The requirement also includes an on-site demonstration.

The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods.
