PROJECT TITLE Missions Enabling Technologies 9F063-12-0711/A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) on behalf of Canadian Space Agency (CSA) located in St-Hubert, (Quebec), is seeking bids to develop Mission-Enabling Technologies listed in Table 1.1 in the RFP that are in line with the CSA's priorities and mission roadmaps. For every Priority Technologies (PTs) specified in the Statement of Work (Work), the work solicited is the development and advancement of these technologies up to potentially Technology Readiness Level (TRL) 6 to reduce technical uncertainties and support approval and implementation of specific potential future space missions of interest to Canada. Priority Technologies are those that have been established by the CSA as the critical technologies to be developed to meet the objectives set forth by the Canadian Space Strategy. Up to 11 contracts may be awarded. SECURITY REQUIREMENTS No security requirements apply to this project. PERIOD OF CONTRACT From the date of issue until March 31st, 2015. ACTUAL BUDGET AVAILABLE The actual budget available under this RFP is 6.0M$, all applicable taxes extra. A contract will be awarded to the best compliant bid for each of the Priority Technologies in the order listed in Table 1.1 in the RFP i.e. the first contract to be awarded will cater to PT1, with the second to PT2 etc. Annex A (Statement of Work & Requirements) provides details regarding the Work required for each Priority Technology (PT). INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY The Intellectual Property will belong to the Contractor CANADIAN CONTENT The requirement is limted to Canadian goods and/or services BASIS OF PAYMENT Firm price with milestone payments or ceiling price. All specifications are detailed in the document entitled Request for Proposal (RFP).
