    PROJECT TITLE
    
    Small Planatery Rover Platform (SPRP)
    
    DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
    
    With this Request for Proposals (RFP), Public Works and
    Government Services Canada (PWGSC) plans to award one (1)
    contract through the Canadian Space Agency's (CSA's) Exploration
    Core (ExCore) plans to deliver a functional Small Planatery
    Rover Platform. The scope of the actual contract encompasses the
    design, development, production, assembly, testing and delivery
    of one prototype of SPRP (Small Planetary Rover Platform). The
    prototype will be tested to demonstrate that it meets TRL 4
    (Technology Readiness Level) level criteria. The main
    characteristics  of this platform are: Small footprint, low
    cost, low mass and rugged. The Small Planetary Rover Platform
    targeted architecture exhibits the following features: Four
    wheels, skid-steering platform, fully passive suspension,
    manually lockable, basic powe system and Power & mechanical
    interface to accomodate small ESM ( Exploration Surface
    Mobility) Payloads.
    SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
    
    No security requirements apply to this project.
    
    PERIOD OF CONTRACT
    
    From December 1st, 2014 to December 1st, 2015
    
    ACTUAL BUDGET AVAILABLE
    
    The budget available for the contract resulting from this bid
    solicitation is $600,000.00, all applicable taxes extra, as
    appropriate. Annex A (Statement of Work and Requirements
    Document) includes a description of the work required. The
    maximum amount of funding available for the contract will not
    exceed $600,000.00, all applicable taxes extra, as appropriate.
    Bids valued in excess of this amount will be considered
    non-responsive. This disclosure does not commit Canada to pay
    the maximum funding available.
    
    BASIS OF PAYMENT
    
    Firm price with milestone payments.
    
    
    INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
    
    The Intellectual Property will belong to the Contractor
    
    
    CANADIAN CONTENT
    
    The requirement is limted to Canadian goods and/or services

    both official languages
