BIO ANALYSIS SYSTEM FOR THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION (ISS)

Amendment #001: Flow cytometry is not a requirement. The proposed technique/solution needs to meet the requirements.  Flow cytometry is provided as representative of the type of results sought.

There is no option to increase the timeframe.

PROJECT TITLE: 
Bio-analysis System of the Life Science Research System (LSRS)

DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT
With this Request for Proposais (RFP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) plans to award one (1) contract through the Canadian Space Agency's   Life Science Research System for thedesign  of the Bio-analysis  System. The project  is divided  in  four (4)phases:  Phase  A, B, C and the optional Phase D.

SECURITY REQUJREMENTS
No security requirements apply to this project.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT
From the date of issue for a period of approximately thirty-two (32) months.

MANDATORY FINANCIAL CRITERION
The budget available for the contract resulting from this bid solicitation is $12,500,000.00, all applicable taxes extra. Annex A (Statement of Work) includes a description ofthe work required. The Maximum amount of funding available for the contract will not exceed $12,500,000.00, all applicable taxes extra. Bids valued in excess of this amount will be considered non-responsive. This disclosure does not commit Canada to paythemaximum funding available.

MANDATORY TECHNICAL CRITERION
The mandatorytechnical criterion is described at the Attachment 1 to Part 4 of the Request for Proposai entitled: Evaluation Criteria for the Technical and Managerial bid.

CONTROLLED GOODS PROGRAM
This procurement could be subject to the Controlled Goods Program

BASIS OF PAYMENT
Milestone payments and Progress Payments.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The lntellectual Property will vest with the Contracter

This  requirement is conditionally limited to Canadian goods and/or services
