Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Construction of a new housing unit of 50 beds This project involves without limitation to the construction of a new housing unit of minimum security with 50 beds, an access road and the extension of the acutal fence at Sainte-Anne-des-Plaines Institution. This is a two-storey building with a gross area of aprpox 2,700 m2 SITE VISIT: : A site visit will take place May 16, 2012 at 10:00 am at the main entrance of Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, Institution, Ste-Anne des Plaines, Qc. The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following cost category: over 5,000,000$ Two (2) letters of reference, the text of which is provided in Annex "A" must be completed and signed by an authorized client representative and annexed to the bidder's submission (refer to the invitation to tender) INQUIRIES: All enquiries regarding this tender, are to be submitted in writing to the Contractual Authority: Diane Duval, Supply Officer, fascimile (514) 496-3822 or by e-mail at diane.duval@tpsgc.gc.ca TENDER DOCUMENTS: Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain tender documents through the MERX service provider. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. The standard documents are issued by Public Works and Government Services Canada and may be viewed on the MERX electronic bulletin board as part of the information module. Statements of Works and plans may be view at the following locations: ACQ at St-Léonard, APECQ at Chemin de la Savane, Montréal,Quebec. Drawings and Specifications are now available for viewing and downloading in a Portable Document Format (PDF) or in a standard paper version. Tenderers should note that Attachment 1 (ATT 1) contains the Drawings and Specifications Package (DSP) which consists of PDF files organized in an industry recognized directory structure.
