Statement of Work - Passenger Elevator No. 2 Replacement
	
	The intent of the Tender Call is to provide (design,
manufacture, deliver, supply, install, construct, commission,
train personnel etc.) a new machine room less passenger elevator
located at the David Florida Laboratory, 3701 Carling Avenue,
Ottawa, Ontario, in accordance with the attached Tender
Documents and complete in every respect (structural,
architectural, electrical, fire alarm and mechanical, cab,
doors, controls, sensors, motors, counterweights etc.) for a
fully operational system.
1.	Brief summary of design/performance criteria:
.1	Number of landings five (including basement)
.2	Design basis: motor room less elevator
2.	The Contractor is to provide engineering design services and
construct the passenger elevator including all electrical,
control, mechanical, structural and other door components in
accordance with Tender Documents.
3.	The project is to meet the deliverables and milestones
outlined in Section 01 10 10 - General Instructions.
4.	Demolition and removal off site of the existing
roped/hydraulic elevator (including all controls systems,
sensors, cab, dispose of hydraulic motor and fluid etc.).

It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for a
tour of the work site.  The site visit will be held on December
10th, 2014 at 10:00am at David Florida Laboratory located at
3701 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, Ontario, K2H 8S2
Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be
given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded
from submitting a bid.  Any clarifications or changes to the bid
solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as
an amendment to the bid solicitation.


The estimated cost for this opportunity is between 500,000$ - 
$1,000,000.
