Exterior shell repair - bloc A, HEALTH CANADA OFFICES AND LABORATORIES Longueuil, Quebec

Health Canada intend to proceed with the ‘’Renovation of the exterior envelope - Block A’’ of its laboratory and office building located at 1001 St-Laurent street West, in Longueuil.

Generally, but not necessarily limited to, the scope of work includes:
• Block A four façades brick masonry replacement; 
• Air/vapor barrier and 25mm sprayed on insulation installation at the four masonry façades;
• Exterior block A terraces low walls brick replacement; 
• Block A four façades curtain wall replacement, including entrance aluminum doors;
• Windows blinds replacement;
• Structural anchors installation at the top of the concrete block wall, where accessible during the brick masonry replacement of the four block A façades; 
• Structural/mechanical/electrical necessary related works; 
• Related temporary relocation and construction works.

The building must remain operational for the entire duration of construction that is to be spread over three years:  
• Phase 1: Masonry, air barrier and insulation work to be carried out from spring to summer 2018.
• Phase 2: 
o North and West façade’s curtain wall replacement to be carried out from spring to summer of 2019;
o South and East façade’s curtain wall replacement to be carried out from spring to summer of 2020.

There will be an optional site visit on April 11th, 2018 at 10h00 a.m. Interested bidders are to meet at 1001, St-Laurent street West, Longueuil (Quebec) J4K 1C7.

Note : Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance in order to register as "visitor"; there is a fee for parking.
