Rehabilitation of the Lachine Canal Walls Reach 4 - Sectors 14 to 17, Lachine Quebec

Work subject of this call for tenders involves the rehabilitation of certain Canal-de-Lachine assets in the Reach 4 - Sectors 14 to 17, located on the Canal-de-Lachine National historic Site. 

The work consists mainly of the replacement or reconditioning of the concrete facing of the bases of the canal and concrete crowning, the replacement of damaged or missing foundation stones with concrete, the management of contaminated soil, the management of existing assets (including management of lead-based painting and replacement of vintage elements embedded in walls), excavation, backfilling and landscaping work, as well as any other work indicated in plans and specifications.

There will be a site visit on August 16th 2018 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at 63 Saint-Joseph boul., Lachine, Quebec H8S 2K9.
Visiting the entire site is possible using different access points. Consequently, from initial meeting point, participants will have to use their personal car in order to access the different access points. Further details will be given on site.
