The Department of National Defence must enter into a contract with a supplier to mow the grass and maintain the grounds of the Farnham Garrison. For the area 1 (administrative) of the Farnham Garrison: mowing the grass in the area, mowing the grass in ditches and along roads (gravel shoulder), clearing the brush around all facilities and adjacent obstacles. The period of the contract is two (2) years from the date of contract award with the possibility of one option for one (1) year. The estimated cost for this opportunity is between $100 001 and $250 000. Optional Site Visit It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for a tour of the work site. The site visit will be held on: April 18th 2013 at 10:30 National Defence Canada Training Center Farnham 1111 Principale Street West Farnham, PQ J2N 1G8 Gate reception Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority 2 day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders may be requested to sign an attendance form. Bidders who do not attend or send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment but they will not be precluded from submitting a bid. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
