Chapman Space Center, St-Hubert, Quebec. The Canadian Space Agency intends to hire a general contractor qualified to practise his profession with a valid permit from the Province of Quebec. The work consists of the dismantling of the existing generator and the subsequent installation of a new generator and its related components. Some architectural work will also be required in order to make the site housing the equipment compliant. The contractor must provide a rental generator with a capacity of 800kw and the wiring needed for its connection for the duration of the work. All the work must be completed by March 20,2020. Optional site visit: There will be an optional site visit on October 15, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Enquiries during the solicitation period: Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address france.belisle@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca Except for the approval of alternative materials as described in GI15 of R2710T, enquiries should be received no later than 5 business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided. The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and contract documents.
