Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EF930-183291/A THIS PROCUREMENT CONTAINS A SECURITY REQUIREMENT TITLE: ICAO - Modernization of Elevator Controllers PROJECT DESCRIPTION The works consist mainly of the modernization (replacement) of controllers, car and floors fixtures, door operators, all wiring, console replacement, and minor related work for the 12 existing elevators. There is a site visit scheduled for this project. There will be an optional (but highly recommended) site visit on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 10:30 local. Interested bidders must go directly to the site of the works. The meeting point will be at the lobby of the ICAO building MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE - The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid. MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD - INTEGRITY PROVISIONS: Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to provide the names within the time-frame specified will render the bid non-responsive. Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals mentioned above within a specified time frame. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time frame provided, or failure to cooperate to the verification process will result in the bid being declared non-responsive. The Contractor must, at the Contractor's expense, obtain and maintain insurance contracts in accordance with the requirements of the Certificate of Insurance. SECURITY Requirements: This project include security requirements, with the obligation that interested entrepreneurs hold a corporate reliability status called "Designated Organization Screening(DOS)" and this at bid submission. For more information on personnel and organization security screening or security clauses, Offerors should refer to the Industrial Security Program (ISP) of Public Works and Government Services Canada (http://ssi-iss.tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca/index-eng.html) website. PERIOD OF WORK The rehabilitation work must be completed before May, 2019.
