Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: EXTENSION OF POSTING PERIOD: PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TIME LIMIT FOR THE RECEPTION OF TENDERS PREVIOUSLY SET FOR MAY 8th, 2018 IS NOW SET TO MAY 15th, 2018 AT 02:00 PM (EASTERN DAYLIGHT TIME). ******************************************************************************** TITLE : North link, Lachine Canal PROJECT ADDRESS : Lachine Canal, Lachine QC CLIENT / USER : Parcs Canada DESCRIPTION: The work covered by this contract includes the construction of an active transportation link (pedestrian path and bicycle lane) on the north shore of the Lachine Canal between Atwater Avenue and des Seigneurs Street, as well as the transformation of the Lapalme warehouse and the development of an outdoor event area east of the Lapalme warehouse. Work includes, but is not limited to: .1 The grubbing (including the removal of the root system) of the trees indicated on the plan. .2 Demolition and dismantling of asphalt, concrete, paving, stone dust, gravel and sod surfaces, and the removal or demolition of concrete bins and lamp posts base. .3 Removal of existing stones between Atwater Avenue and Charlevoix Street. .4 The removal of lamp posts and chain link fence sections and signage. .5 The development of concrete paver surfaces, concrete curbs at junction points with Atwater Avenue and Charles-Biddle, Lévis, Charlevoix, Vinet, Dominion and des Seigneurs streets. .6 Connection of utilities towards the Lapalme warehouse at Georges-Vanier Street level. .7 Construction of an underground electrical entrance between des Seigneurs Street and Lapalme warehouse. .8 The rehabilitation of the current Lapalme warehouse (architecture, structure, mechanics and electrical). .9 The development of a bicycle lane between Atwater Avenue and des Seigneurs Street. .10 The development of a pedestrian path between the Georges-Vanier boulevard extension and the des Seigneurs Street. .11 Landscaping of a multi-use area between Dominion Street and the warehouse with a reinforced grass surface and picnic area. .12 The construction of a gathering area between Lapalme warehouse and des Seigneurs Street with a reinforced grass surface, a picnic area and a concrete pavement walkway with planters and furniture along the wall of the Lachine Canal. .13 Lighting of the bicycle lane between Atwater Avenue and des Seigneurs Street. .14 Supply and installation of furniture: bollard, removable bollard, bicycle rack, bench, garbage bin, picnic table, semi-buried waste container, metal railing along the canal wall, hand rail, chain-link fence. .15 The restauration of the site. CALENDAR : The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within 57 weeks form date of award.
