    Set-aside under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB)
    
    This procurement is set aside under the federal government Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business. For more information on Aboriginal business requirements of the Set-aside Program for Aboriginal Business see Annex 9.4 of the Supply Manual.
    
    This procurement is set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for measures with respect to Aboriginal peoples or for set-asides for small and minority businesses.
    
    Further to Article 800 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), CFTA does not apply to this procurement.
    
    Bidders must complete and sign the document entitled "Certification for the Purposes of the Set-Aside Program for Aboriginal Business" (see Annex C of this document).

    Description
    The work involves repairing the workshops and warehouses at 1156 Mill Street in Montreal. These facilities are used by the Parks Canada Canal System Maintenance Team. In Building 1, we find office spaces, common areas, storage spaces and various workshops. These major works in architecture, structure and electro-mechanics were made necessary following a flood. For Building 2, the work involves repairing the foundation wall located along Mill Street.
    
    
    Optional site visit
    There will be an optional, but strongly recommended site visit on September 10th, 2020 at 10:00AM. Interested bidders are to meet at the following address: 1156, rue Mill, Montreal, (QC). Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, we request that proponents limit the number of representatives to one (1) individual, and comply with applicable hygienic measures.
    
    Confirmation of attendance is required no later than 24 hours before the date of the visit. Confirmation of attendance and the name of the representative of the firm must be sent by email to the contracting authority: mariapia.aguilera@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca 
    
    
    Enquiries during the solicitation period
    Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address mariapia.aguilera@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca  Except for the approval of alternative materials as described in GI15 of R2710T, enquiries should be received no later than 5 business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
    
    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and contract documents.
