    Description
    The purpose of this request for proposal is to mandate a firm of professionals in the field of architecture to provide their services for projects involving the redevelopment of office space, special purpose space, the preparation of expert reports and of plans and estimates for reconstruction projects at the Canadian Space Agency (CSA) John H. Chapman Space Centre (JCSC).
    
    This standing offer is valid for a period of two years with five option years.
    
    The maximum limit of this standing offer is $250,000 (including taxes) for each year with a maximum limit of $60,000 per order.
    
    Security Requirement
    This procurement is subject to Security requirements.
    
    The CSA cannot estimate the volume of projects that will be requested from the firm. It will vary according to operational needs and the requests made by the various programs operating within the CSA.
    
    The JCSC, CSA’s headquarters, located at 6767 route de l'Aéroport in Saint-Hubert, Quebec, is a 30,000 m2 building spread over three floors plus a mechanical shed. It was built in the early 1990s. Approximately 50% of the building houses office space, 20% of laboratory space, 15% of operational space and 15% of services space. Over the years, it has undergone numerous interior transformations, a temporary annex and a few small independent buildings were added to meet the CSA's operational needs. 
    
    Enquiries during the solicitation period
    Enquiries regarding this bid must be submitted in writing to the Contracting Authority named on the Invitation to Tender - Page 1 at e-mail address mariapia.aguilera@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca . Enquiries should be received no later than 5 business days prior to the date set for solicitation closing to allow sufficient time to provide a response. Enquiries received after that time may result in an answer NOT being provided.
    
    The Crown reserves the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and contract documents.
