    Summary:
    PWGSC intends to retain a firm with expertise in engineering or
    biology specializing in fish habitat, to deliver drawings and
    specifications for the contruction of the project.
    
    This mandate is to provide compensation for the losses in lentic
    and lotic water fish habit, relative to the prospective
    construction of the New Bridge for the St. Lawrence.
    This project's primary ecological objective is to create
    habitats that are attractive to ichthyofauna by improving
    conditions for spawning, rearing and feeding in the Rapides de
    Vaudreuil between the Taschereau Bridge and Île Bray/Île aux
    Pins. 
    The proposed work seeks primarily to improve yellow walleye,
    lake sturgeon and smallmouth bass habitat. The work described
    here primarily seeks to develop substrate and
    bathymetric/hydraulic conditions conducive to these functions.

    It is recommended that the Bidder or a representative of the
    Bidder participates to a briefing that will be held at PWGSC
    office at the following address: Local Terre-Neuve/Labrador,
    Place Bonaventure, Office 7300, 800 De La Gauchetière West
    Street, Montreal (Quebec) H5A 1K6 at 1:30 pm. on July 7th, 2015.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting
    Authority 4 day(s) before the scheduled visit to confirm
    attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will
    attend.
