Amendment #2:The purpose of this amendment is to update this
request of proposal with the new integrity regime clause.


DESCRIPTION:

This Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) request involves
the provision, on an as and when ordered basis, of Halal* Meat
products.

* Examples of  acceptable halal certifications or equivalent; 

Chicken: 	Certification of halal slaughter 
		World Islamic Mission Association 

Beef: 		Islamic Food and Nutrition Council of Canada


IDENTIFIED USER:

Correctional Service Canada, various institutions across the
province of Quebec.

PERIOD OF STANDING PROPOSAL:

From October 1st, 2014 to September 30th, 2016, divided into
four (4) periods of six (6) months.

Period # 1: October 1st, 2014 to March 31st, 2015 
Period # 2:     April 1st, 2015 to September  30th, 2015
Period # 3:  October1st, 2015 to March 31st, 2016 
Period # 4:     April 1st, 2016 to September 30th, 2016
Note: Offers will have to be submitted for each period, as per
the schedule in Annex "B".

Delay:

Delivery will be made in accordance with the delivery date
mentioned on the call-up document.

Delivery within 24 hours for emergencies.

Minimum value for call-ups will not be accepted.

Security:

Please note that there might be a delay entering and exiting the
institutions.

The client may require that a security investigation be made on
the supplier's delivery staff.

Furthermore, the supplier shall ensure that his staff members
carry a proof of identity at all times, or they will be denied
access to the site.

The delivery vehicles may be searched when entering and exiting
the institutions.


QUANTITIES:

The estimated quantities for each of the required items can be
found in Annex B - Working Document - List of products.


APPROXIMATE SCOPE OF THE STANDING PROPOSAL:

The approximate scope of the Standing Proposal is $190,000.00
for the period from October 1st, 2014 to September 30th, 2016
inclusive.


TRADE AGREEMENTS:

"The requirement is subject to the provisions of the North
American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on
Internal Trade (AIT)."
