Note to bidders: Please ensure to include any and all amendments of thisRequest for Standing Offer with your bid. ********** AMENDMENT 001: This amendment is to delete a delivery address for the Quebec region as well as modify Annex B: only Version II is valid from now on. Please consult the Solicitation Document 001 for related details. Note to bidders: Please ensure to include any and all amendments of this Request for Standing Offerl with your bid. ********** DESCRIPTION: This Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) request involvesthe provision, on an as and when ordered basis, of Fresh Fruits and Vegetables. Please note that any offeror may submit a bid depending on the region it is able to service (delivery). Pricesquoted for identical or similar items may vary between regions established by tabs in Annex B (Working Document - List of Products) Please refer to Annex C (Delivery Addresses) for a list of the delivery points in each region included in the StandingOffer. The offerors must be able to deliver the goods being offered toALL SHIPPING ADDRESSES in the region. IDENTIFIED USER: The Identified Users authorized to make call-ups against the Standing Offer include any government department, agency or Crown Corporation listed in Schedules I, I.1, II, III, ofthe Financial Administration Act, R.S., 1985, c. F-11 in the province of Quebec. PERIOD OF STANDING PROPOSAL: From the date of issuance to JUNE 30, 2017 - divided into twelve (12) periods of one (1) month. NOTE: - Offers must be submittedfor each periodas per the pre-determined Closing Schedule (see Annex B - Working Document). - Up to three (3) Standing Offers may be issued for each region per period. - In the event that three (3) Standing Offers are not enough to fulfill all of theitems, Canada reserves the right to issue more than three (3) StandingOffersper region and per period. DELAY: Delivery will take place no later than forty-eight (48) hours from receiptof an order. At all times during the period of the StandingOffer, when Urgent requests are made, the Offeror (s) will commit to supplying the goods within twenty-four (24) hours following receipt of an order. SECURITY - Applies only to the institutions of Correctional Service Canada: Please note that there might be a delay entering and exiting the institutions. The client mayrequire that a security investigation be made on the supplier's delivery staff. Furthermore, the supplier shallensure that his staff members carry a proof of identity at all times,or they will be denied access to the site. The delivery vehicles may be searched when entering and exiting the institutions. QUANTITIES: The estimated quantities for each of the required items can be found in Annex B - Working Document -Listof products. APPROXIMATE SCOPE OF STANDING PROPOSAL: The approximate scope of the Standing Proposal is $ 2 500 000.00 for the period from the date of issuance to June 30, 2017 inclusive. TRADE AGREEMENTS: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
