Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada-Peru FTA/Canada-Colombia FTA Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: YES (MERX) Electronic Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Transport Canada - Aircraft Rescue & Fire Fighting Vehicle T2012-120037/A Connolly, Carolyn Telephone No. - (709) 772-5396 Fax No. - (709) 772-4603 The Department of Transport Canada requires the purchase of a minimum 6,000 litre water capacity Aircraft Rescue and Fire Protection services (ARFF) vehicle to be delivered FOB Destination to Wabush Airport, Combined Services Building, 2 Airport Road, Wabush, NL, A0R 1B0, CA. The vehicle must have a minimum litre capacity of Aqueous Film Forming Foam (AFFF) to support two loads of water using 3% AFFF; a minimum 225kg complementary extinguishing agent (dry chemical) capacity; and · a total discharge capacity of 3400 litres per minute.This vehicle is required on or before 15 January 2014. This vehicle is intended for use in rescue operations and in combating fires resulting from an aircraft ground emergency and other fire protection assignments necessary in airport operations. The proposed vehicle must meet all of the minimum requirements in the National Fire Protection Association's (NFPA) 414 Standard, as well as the specific and detailed requirements described in the specification attached as Annex "A" Statement of Work. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT). Pursuant to section 01 of Standard Instructions 2003, Bidders must submit a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. Furthermore, as determined by the Special Investigations Directorate, Departmental Oversight Branch, each individual named on the list may be requested to complete a Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form and related documentation. It is the responsibility of the Bidder to ensure that all addenda issued prior to tender closing have been obtained and addressed in the submitted tender. Standard terms and conditions for this procurement are incorporated by reference into, and form part of, the tender and contract documents.
