Description:

The Canadian Coast Guard in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador (NL), Canada, has a requirement for a minimum of 37,000 US Gallons to 58,000 US Gallons (140,000 litres to 220,000 litres) of Marine Distillate Fuel for the CCGS John Cabot at anchor on the Pacific side of Panama.

The fuel must meet CGSB 3.11-2017 type 15 fuel.

The CCGS John Cabot will be travelling from Victoria, British Columbia (BC) along the Western Seaboard, through the Panama Canal, along the United States Eastern Seaboard to her final destination of St. John’s, NL (Eastern Canada).

Given the length of the voyage, the exact date of the fuel requirement cannot be stated at this time.  General timelines have been established and the supplier will be given up to 72 hours’ notice to supply the fuel. Time frame is between 10 January - 10 February 2021.
