    The Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO), Northwest Atlantic
    Fisheries Centre (NAFC) St. John's, NL has a requirement for
    HDPE Piping, Valves and associated equipment as follows:
    
    1. Eight (8) each
    Eight inch (200 mm) Polyethylene Ball valves, Full Port, PE Wall
    - SDR11, Normal OD - 8.625 inches, Materials:  PE3408/PE100
    Black SDR 11 rated @ 160 PSI for water.  Temperature: From -20 F
    to 140 F (-20 C to 60 C. Pipe Connection - Butt Fusion and
    supplied with Butt Fused Joint Insulation Kit (50 mm thick UIP
    Urethane Insulation). Valves to meet ASTM D 2513 Requirements.
    
    2. Sixteen (16) each
    Eight inch (200 mm) DR11 Electrofusion Couplings, (200 mm)
    8"iron pipe size (IPS) Electrofusion coupling, SDR11 240 PSI,
    made from PE100, ASTM D-3261, ASTM D-3350, AWWA C-906, DIN16963,
    EN1555, EN12201, meets FM Class 200.
    
    3. One (1) each
    Electrofusion machine Operating Type: Controlled voltage.

    4. Sixty five (65) each, 
    15.24 m (50 ft.) long of pre insulated SDR 11 HDPE pipe. Pipe to
    be 8" (200 mm) DR11, rated for 200 psi with 50 mm (2") thick UIP
    urethane insulation, 50 Mil taped outer jacket suitable for
    direct bury application and one (1) butt fused joint insulation
    kit per 50 ft. Length. Insulation to be; rigid polyurethane
    foam, factory applied, 50 mm thick, Density ASTM D 1622, 35 to
    46 kg/m3, Closed cell content, ASTM D 6226, 90% minimum and
    Water absorption ASTM D 2842, 4% by volume Tape Wrap System;
    polyethylene, UV inhibited, formulated for cold environment,
    Sealant, butyl rubber and resin applied in hot 25 Mil multiple
    layers to provide a shrink tightened waterproof bond. All pipe
    lengths shall come with removable end caps to prevent anything
    from entering/contaminating the pipe as it will be stored
    outside subject to weather, UV rays and environmental conditions
    
    5. One (1) each Pipe scraper similar or equal to a Ritmo RTC315
