    1. TITLE
    
    FOOD RE-SUPPLY SHIPMENT ON THE 2018 EASTERN ARCTIC SEALIFT.
    
    
    2. BACKGROUND
    
    The Polar Continental Shelf Program (PCSP) of Natural Resources Canada provides logistics support to Canadian government, university, northern, independent and international research organizations.  Additionally, the Program provides specific field logistics support for the Canadian Armed Forces Arctic Training Centre that is hosted at the PCSP facility in Resolute, Nunavut.  At the PCSP facility in Resolute, on an annual basis, over 30,000 meals are prepared for clients (and staff).  The most economical way to transport goods to the arctic is by the annual Eastern Artic Sealift resupply.  This resupply departs southern Canada in July, arriving in Resolute in September.
