Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Supply of Hay M7594-165816/B Lamothe, Nathalie Telephone No. - (819) 420-9939 ( ) Fax No. - ( ) - ( ) This is to cancels and supersedes previous Request for Proposal M7594-165816/A dated February 7th, 2017 that closed on February23rd, 2017. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police has a requirement for square bales of hay. The hay is to be delivered to the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) Stables on an as and when requested basis. MANDATORY SPECIFICATIONS 1. Hay must be analyzed for content a minimum of three (3) times a year or at the request of the Stable manager, and a copy of the analysis is to be provided to the RCMP Stable manager. The RCMP samples must be analyzed at the contractor’s expense by a laboratory enrolled in a check sample program recognized by Agriculture an Agri-Food Canada 2. Hay must be free from dust, contaminants, weeds, and foreign material/matter. 3. Hay must consist of at least 90% Timothy 4. Resulting Hay analysis must be within the following range • Protein 10% to 13% • Acid Detergent Fiber (ADF) 32% to 39% • Neutral Detergent Fiber (NDF) 45% to 55% 5. The Contractor must provide the Project Authority within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of the request, a signed received Order Request agreeing to provide the deliverables as indicated in Annex A. Deliveries must be made Monday through Friday between the hours of08:00 and 14:00 6. Small and large square bale deliveries must be unloaded by contractor and placed inthe RCMPfeed shed. The small square bale must weighs between 40 and 60 pounds each and the large square bale size must be no longer than 3’x4’x7’ in dimension and weigh approximately 1,000 pounds each. 7. Each load of hay will be inspected by the RCMP upon delivery and unacceptable bales will be set aside and the supplier will replace these bales within two (2) working days at no additional costs. 8. Weight Bills must accompany each delivery. The period of the contract will be from June 1st, 2017 to May 31st, 2018, with 5 optional one year periods. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
