Trade Agreement: NONE Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: N/A - P&A/LOI Only Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Price & Availability Enquiry for Rental Accomodations Trailers W0107-191000/A Lamorie, Cindy Telephone No. - (613) 687-6655 ( ) Fax No. - (613) 687-6656 ( ) The Department of National Defence, is gathering price and availability data for the provision of rental accommodation trailers for Garrison Petawawa. The purpose is to gather accommodations options and pricing information to assist 4 Canadian Division Support Base (4 CDSB) with budgeting and drafting of the future requirement. 4 Canadian Division Support Base requires temporary, on-site accommodations and support facilities for up to one-hundred and fifty (150) personnel tentatively during the months of April to August 2019, possibly continuing for up to a three (3) year period. At a minimum, the facilities must have the following features: - Accommodation based on one to twelve (1-12) persons per room; - One securable (via combination or key lock) locker or wardrobe for every bed; - A total minimum of fifteen (15) male and four (4) female lavatories with showers total on the site; - Electricity, running water, and sewage; - Laundry facilities are desirable; and - Climate control (heating/air conditioning) is not required but is desirable. Facility must be built and ready to accept utilities. Facility must be set up and maintained by the company during the duration on location. If maintenance is not possible by the providing company it is to be outsourced and/or contracted. The facilities must be flexible to either run off of the locations current utilities grid with minimal setup needed or by other means. Should the accommodations be hooked into DND infrastructure, that infrastructure must be maintained and serviced by DND. Canada is requesting the following information: 1.Their comments or concerns regarding how the requirements could be satisfied; 2.Diagrams of facility options; 3.Description of facility options; 4.Estimated costs; 5.Estimated time-frame required for set up and removal; 6.Site-specific or infrastructure requirements for set-up and operation (i.e. generators, line hookups, water, and wastewater). 7.Where applicable, alternative recommendations. Respondents are also invited to provide comments regarding the content, format, and/or organization of any draft documents included in this P&A. Respondents should list and explain any assumptions that they make in their responses. Canada does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this notice or otherwise pay for the information solicited. Respondents may submit commercial-in-confidence documents / information and the Government of Canada reserves the right to use the information submitted to assist in preparing technical requirements and budgetary estimates for the Department of National Defence. This is not a bid solicitation and this P&A will not result in the award of any contract. Procurement of the goods and services described in this P&A will not necessarily follow this request. Any procurement will be in accordance with standard government procurement policies, i.e. formal Requests for Proposals (RFP). The P&A will remain available on www.buyandsell.gc.ca until a formal Request for Standing Offer RFSO is released. Respondents and potential suppliers of any goods or services described in this P&A should not earmark stock or facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any information contained in this P&A. This P&A will not result in the creation of any source list; therefore, whether or not any supplier responds to this P&A will not preclude that supplier from participating in any future procurement. Respondents should clearly mark any portions of their response that they consider proprietary or confidential. In an effort to encourage Respondents to be as forthcoming as possible, it is understood and agreed that DND shall, during and after the period of the Request for Price and Availability (P&A), treat as confidential and not divulge, unless authorized in writing by the Respondent, any information obtained from the Respondent that has been identified as "proprietary" or "confidential"within their response to this P&A. Responses will not be formally evaluated. However, the responses received may be used by Canada to develop or modify procurement strategies or any draft documents contained in this P&A. Canada will review all responses received by the P&A closing date. Canada may, in its discretion, review responses received after the P&A closing date. A review team composed of representatives from the client and PWGSC will review the responses. Canada reserves the right to use any Government resources that it considers necessary to review any response. Not all members of the review team will necessarily review all responses. Because this is not a bid solicitation, Canada will not necessarily respond to enquiries in writing or by circulating answers to all potential suppliers. However, respondents with questions regarding this notice may direct their enquiries to the Contracting Authority identified below.
