REF: Request for Proposal for Biological Sequence Databases Search Tool (BSDST)

This bid solicitation is being issued to satisfy the requirement of the Department of Innovation, Science and Economic Development (ISED) Canada (the "Client") for Licensed Product(s) Subscription Services to access a Biological Sequence Databases Search Tool (BSDST). The bid solicitation is intended to result in the award of a contract for one (1) year, plus four (4) option periods of one year each, allowing the Client to extend the term of the contract.

The scope of the bid solicitation includes:
Licensed Product(s) Subscription Services to access the BSDST for up to 150 users inclusively, including access for 50 simultaneous users to search biological sequence databases, meeting all the requirements of the Annex A, Statement of Requirement and in accordance with Canada’s Online Licensed Product(s) Terms and Conditions listed under Annex B.
The required Licensed Product(s) Subscription Services to access the BSDST must include Web support services, documentation and on-line training services, meeting all the requirements listed in the Annex A, Statement of Requirement (SOR) and in accordance with Canada’s Online Licensed Product(s) Terms and Conditions listed under Annex B. 
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
The Federal Contractors Program (FCP) for employment equity applies to this procurement: see Part 5 - Certifications, Part 7 - Resulting Contract Clauses and the form titled “Federal Contractors Program for Employment Equity - Certification".
There are no security provisions for this requirement.
