    PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:   
     
    EP765-221474 - Downtown Ottawa Building LED Lighting Upgrade
    151 Sparks St, Ottawa, Ontario
    
    Project description:  The work consist of replacing and reprograming 1210 recessed light fixtures with DALI compatible retrofit kits, Provide and integrate a new lighting controller software, DALI compatible and provide DALI reprogramming tools including a laptop with software configurator and DALI USB hardware accessory.
    Work is to be completed within 15 Weeks after contract award. 
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
    1.  The Contractor/Offeror personnel requiring access to secure site(s) must, at all times during the performance of the Contract/Standing Offer, EACH hold a valid SITE ACCESS Clearance, granted or approved by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services (PWGSC).
    2.  The Contractor/Offeror must comply with the provisions of the Security Requirements Check List and security guide (if applicable), attached at Annex A.
    
    COVID-19 VACCINATION REQUIREMENT AND CERTIFICATION
    
    This requirement is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. All Bidders must provide with their bid, the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification attached to this bid solicitation (Appendix 5),
    
    This Certification incorporated into the bid solicitation on its closing date is incorporated into, and forms a binding part of any resulting Contract. Failure to complete and provide the COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement Certification as part of the bid will render the bid non-responsive.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    
    There will be a site visit on 24/01/2022 at 10:00am. Interested bidders are to meet at the main entrance of 151 Sparks St.
    Security pre-screening: All the individuals attending the site visit must hold a security clearance of Secret. The names of each individual attending the site visit, their date of birth, along with the name of the firm they represent, should be provided to the Contracting Authority by 20/01/2022 at 2:00pm in order to gain access to the site.
    This site visit is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Supplier Personnel. The person(s) who attend must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, or, for personnel that are unable to be vaccinated due to a certified medical contraindication, religion or other prohibited grounds of discrimination under the Canadian Human Rights Act, subject to accommodation and mitigation measures that have been presented to and approved by Canada.
