    PROJECT IDENTIFICATION:  
      
    PARLIAMENTARY PRECINCT CAMPUS CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT STANDING OFFER
    
    Parliamentary Precinct, Ottawa, Ontario
    
    Project description:  Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) is undertaking a number of projects in the Parliamentary Precinct located downtown Ottawa. The resulting Standing Offer will apply to all assets managed by the Parliamentary Precinct Branch (PPB). 
    Call-ups against the Standing Offer may be for the provision of project management, Construction Advisory (CA) services and Construction Management (CM) services on an ongoing basis for multiple projects managed concurrently.  Call-ups against the Standing Offer will be established on a project by project basis. 
    The CM will provide services to ensure that the projects are delivered on schedule, on scope, within the construction estimate, and to the level of quality commensurate for assets within the Parliamentary Precinct campus. This Standing Offer does not grant the contractor exclusive rights to work in the Parliamentary Precinct campus.  Work will be described in a Call-up against the Standing Offer.
    Construction is defined as the work required to deliver specific projects in and around the Parliamentary Precinct. Construction includes work required to improve, reconfigure and/or refurbish spaces, building systems, and building elements. Work will be undertaken on the exterior and interior of buildings and must be accomplished without affecting building occupants. Construction will be done project by project, area by area, and will need to be fully coordinated well in advanced with PWGSC and the occupants. 
    
    The Standing offers will be valid for 5 years after award. 
    
    MANDATORY SECURITY REQUIREMENT:  
     
    At bid closing, the Offeror must hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, with approved Document safeguarding at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Failure to comply with this requirement will render the Bid non-compliant and no further consideration will be given to the Bid.
    
    The Offeror personnel requiring access to CLASSIFIED/PROTECTED information, assets or sensitive work site(s) must EACH hold a valid personnel security screening at the level of SECRET or RELIABILTY STATUS, as required, granted or approved by CISD/PWGSC.
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT:  
    
    There will be no site visit.
