    Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC), on behalf of the Department of National Defence has a requirement to establish a Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) for the supply, delivery and installation of collaborative furniture in Ottawa, including tables and seating, on an as and when requested basis. 
    
    The requirement is reserved for aboriginal businesses under the Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB).

    Period of the Standing Offer: 
    The period of the RISO will be for a period of three (3) years with Canada retaining an option to extend the RISO for up to two additional consecutive twelve (12) month periods in accordance with all terms and conditions detailed in the Request for Standing Offer (RFSO) document. The services must be provided in accordance with Statement of Work attached at Annex "A". 
    
    Basis of Selection: 
    Canada will issue a Standing Offer to lowest priced, technically compliant Offeror. 
    
    There is a security requirement associated with the requirement.  
    
    As a set aside under the PSAB, this requirement is also set aside from the international trade agreements under the provision each has for set-asides for small and minority businesses.
    
    The Comprehensive Land Claims Agreements (CLCA) are not applicable since the services will not be performed within CLCA areas. 
    
    Canada retains the rightto negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
    
    Additional information:
    The Carling Campus Project will provide office space to accommodate up to 8,500 Department of National Defence (DND) personnel who will move into 14 interconnected buildings at 3500 Carling Avenue in Ottawa, Ontario from up to 40 different National Capital Area (NCA) locations. The procurement of furniture will be done in two distinct phases and will require a variety of procurements. 
    
    Further future procurements will be solicited including but not limited to:
    
     freestanding furniture
     secure filing
     filing
     meeting/AV furniture
     LAN/racking
     Other systems furniture
    
    These additional future procurements will be solicited by the necessary means of Request for Proposal (RFP), RISO, Standing Offer (SO), Supply Arrangement (SA), etc.
    
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
