PRICE AND AVAILABILITY FOR AIR WARRIOR MICROCLIMATE COOLING
GARMENTS AND CHARGE KITS


The purpose of this request for price and availability (P&A) is
to inform the industry that the department of National Defence
(DND) has identified a requirement for Air Warrior Microclimate
cooling garments and charge kits.

This P&A solicits the participation of industry for feedback on
the following:

Price and availability of the Air Warrior Microclimate cooling
garments and charge kits.
Comments and concerns with the requirement.

The result of this P&A will be used to aid in the purchase of an
approximate quantity of 106 microclimate cooling garments.

This P&A will not result in the award of any contract,
therefore, potential suppliers of any goods described should not
earmark facilities, nor allocate resources, as a result of any
information contained in this P&A. Nor will this P&A result in
the creation of any source list, therefore, whether or not any
potential supplier responds to this P&A will not preclude any
supplier from participating in any future procurement. 
 
Because this is not a bid solicitation, Canada will not
necessarily respond to enquiries in writing or by circulating
answers to all potential suppliers. However, respondents with
questions regarding this notice may direct their enquiries to
the Contracting Authority identified below.
