    Nature of Requirements: 
    This amendment changes the closing date of the Request for
    Proposal to July 21, 2014. 
    
    Requirement: The Department of National Defence (DND) has a
    requirement for liners, coveralls, aircrew chemical warfare
    protective and extra cloth, chemical warfare protective, double
    layer. 
    
    The liners have to be manufactured in accordance with the
    following Department of National Defence documents : Statement
    of work, for procurement of liners, coveralls, aircrew chemical
    warfare protective and rolls of cloth, chemical warfare
    protective, double layer, Specification for liners, coverall,
    aircrew chemical warfare, protective, DSSPM 2-4-87-0135,
    Specification for cloth, chemical warfare protective, double
    layer, DSSPM 2-2-80-227 and sealed samples.
    
    The bidder must contact the Contracting Authority to obtain the
    technical data not included with the bid solicitation documents.
    It is imperative that this request for the bid documentation be
    done as soon as possible to ensure timely receipt of the
    associated technical data. However, the Crown shall not be held
    responsible for untimely release of technical data.
    
    Firm quantity:
    This requirement is for a firm quantity of 2,357 liners and
    10,000 meters of  fabric to be delivered to Montreal, Qc.
    Delivery of the firm quantity is requested complete no later
    than February 3, 2015. 
    
    Option:- Quantities estimated :
    This requirement also includes two (2) options to purchase
    additional estimated quantities. Each option quantity can be for
    an estimated quantity of 2,357 liners and 10,000 meters extra
    fabric. One contract amendment can be done for each option.
    These options may be exercised during a period of 24 months from
    contract award.
    
    Canadian Content: This requirement is subject to the Canadian
    Content Policy and is conditionally limited to Canadian goods.

    To ensure a response before bid closing date, all enquiries
    about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
    by the Contracting Authority at least seven (7) calendar days
    prior to the bid closing date.
