    Requirement
    
    This requirement is to provide Canada for the Department of
    National Defence (DND) with the National Flag of Canada used for
    the 'Depart with Dignity' program. The flags must be in
    compliance with CAN/CGSB 98.1-2011 (National Flag of Canada,
    Outdoor Use) and DSSPM 2-2-80-093 (Specification for Cloth,
    Nylon, Taffeta 65 g/m2).
    
    Firm Quantity
    
    This requirement is for a firm quantity of 3,000 units. 
    
    Option Quantities - Estimated 
    
    This requirement also includes two (2) options to purchase
    additional estimated quantities of  
    3,000 units (maximum) for each option.
    
    Option 1 is exercisable within 24 months from contract award.
    Option 2 is exercisable within 36 months from contract award.
    
    Delivery to DND in Montreal, Quebec and Edmonton, Alberta
    
    All firm deliverables are requested complete by January 28, 2016.
    
    DND is requesting that the first delivery must be made within 30
    calendar days from the date of the written notice of approval of
    the pre-production sample.  The quantity delivered must be 350
    units.  The balance must be delivered at the rate of 350 units
    monthly after the first delivery until completion of the
    Contract. Delivery must be distributed proportionately between
    the two delivery locations. Where 70% are delivered to the
    Montreal Depot and 30% to the Edmonton Depot.
    
    Tendering Procedures:
    Canadian Content - Solely Limited
    The bidder must supply Canadian goods.
    
    Enquiries:
    To assure a response before the bid closing date, all enquiries
    about this requirement must be submitted in writing and received
    by the Contracting Authority at least 7 calendar days prior to
    the bid closing date.
